Sunday night at the Hard Rock Seminole Casino In Hollywood Florida, legendary R&B artist Al Green lit up the stage with his unmistakable charm and timeless voice. Opening with “I Can’t Stop,” followed by “I Can’t Get Next to You” and “Everything’s Gonna Be All Right,” he immediately had the thousands in attendance on their feet, singing word-for-word to every lyric. A medley of his beloved tunes only deepened the wave of nostalgia that filled the room. On stage, his signature roses rested in wait, soon to be handed to the adoring women who lined up with glowing smiles, eager to receive one of his tokens of affection. Between songs, Green’s charismatic humor kept the crowd laughing and cheering, his warmth radiating as much as his music.
