On the evening of Wednesday, October 15, 2025, Gov’t Mule appeared at Amaturo Theater at The Broward Center for the Performing Arts, for their “The Back In The Saddle” Tour.

For those of you that may not be unfamiliar with Gov't Mule, the band was formed in 1994 by guitarist Warren Haynes, drummer Matt Abts, whom Haynes had worked with in the Dickey Betts Band and late member, bassist Allen Woody. Both Haynes and Woody were playing in The Allman Brothers Band at that time. Gov't Mule, led by the Grammy Award-winning Warren Haynes, is pronounced an American Southern Rock jam band. After 3 decades, Warren Hayne's Gov't Mule Tour ends in mid January and will begin touring again April of 2026.

South Florida concert goers took their seats and welcomed Gov't Mule with a rousing cheer as they walked on. Song after song, throughout the concert, each tune delivered an organic, improvisational and sometimes progressive vibe that seemed to pass through everyone in the theater. With the band's solo round, each band member gave us the chance to hear them unleashed. From powerful and driving bass leads, syncopated drum beats, keyboard / trombone and guitar mastery from Danny Louis, and the unmistakable style of melody and rhythm that Warren commands.

For the encore, the band returned to give an amazing rendition of the Allman Brothers song, “Soul Shine”.
