Brenda Johnson &The Rolling Aces

It was a full house at The Funky Biscuit on Wednesday, September 10, 2025 as Brenda Johnson and The Rolling Aces took the stage. Hailing originally from Oklahoma City, Brenda has been a local for a few decades performing at variuos venues throught South Florida. As Brenda has entertained fans and followers performing cover tunes, tonight’s offering consisted of all original music, composed by Brenda and her “Writing Partner” Jamie Meselsohn.

Delivering a mix of musical arrangements that can be described as Rock and Country, the band writes and performs what they feel, crossing genres and colabaration is part of their process. Brenda simply stated, “All the songs are about love”. The original performance was well received by fans, friends and Funky Biscuit patrons with a standing O. To add to this special night, it was also Brenda’s birthday. Happy Birthday Brenda!!

Anticipating the release of their eleven track album, the band is currently in recording sessions at Power Station Studios in Pompano Beach.
