CELEBRATE NATIONAL ICE CREAM DAY AT MIAMI CHILDREN’S MUSEUM

What better way to beat the heat this summer than with some cool delicious ice cream? Satisfy your cravings with a sweet celebration at Miami Children’s Museum, thanks to Florida Dairy Farmers. This weekend, enjoy free individual servings of Blue Bell Ice Cream from 12PM-4PM on Saturday, July 17 and Sunday, July 18.

But that’s not all! The whole family can join in on the fun with sweet Piggie and Gerald story times throughout the day, ice cream puffy paintings in the Art Studio, and a sensory-friendly make-your-own ice cream play dough activity! So bring the family down for a sweet treat and celebrate one of the most delicious holidays ever – National Ice Cream Day! This event is sponsored by Florida Dairy Farmers and Blue Bell Ice Cream.

For more information about the National Ice Cream Day celebration at Miami Children’s Museum, please visit miamichildrensmuseum.org. Museum admission is now being offered for two-hour play sessions from 10AM – 12PM, 1PM – 3PM and 4PM – 6PM. After each session team members clean and sanitize the facility and swap out props for the next group. Masks will be required at all times for adults and children ages 2 and older. Admission to the Museum is $22 for adults and children, $15 for Florida Residents, free for children under 1 year and admission for Museum Members is complimentary. Advance ticket purchase is required through the Museum’s website miamichildrensmuseum.org as session tickets fill up quickly! The Museum is located at 980 MacArthur Causeway on Watson Island in Miami.

Miami Children’s Museum offers bilingual and interactive exhibits, programs, classes and learning materials related to arts, culture, community and communication. The Museum has 17 interactive galleries and houses many exciting and fun traveling exhibits.
