Close Enemies

A Supergroup of Well-Seasoned Professionals “Close Enemies” delivered a Memorable intimate concert at the Culture Room in Ft Lauderdale Fl., an evening that left plenty to talk about long after the final song. These seasoned Musicians played with a natural cohesion, sounding like a band that’s been together their entire careers while reliving the sound and approach of classic rock. The performance captured the feel of the vinyl era, rooted in 70’s recording traditions.
The setlist included selections from Aerosmith and The Babys, featuring “Seasons of Wither,” “Sweet Emotion,” “Sick as a Dog,” “Headfirst,” “Rain,” “Take a Pill,” and “Wink,” highlighting the band’s deep connection to the era that shaped their sound.
Close Enemies is a powerhouse lineup featuring Tom Hamilton, Grammy winner, Rock & Roll Hall of Fame member, and bassist for Aerosmith; legendary drummer Tony Brock (The Babys, Rod Stewart); guitarists Peter Stroud (Sheryl Crow, Don Henley) and Trace Foster; and vocalist Chasen Hampton, a professional singer since childhood and former member of the Mickey Mouse Club.
According to someone close to the band, new all-original material is slated for release in March, recorded using the same style and techniques used back in the 70s, continuing the band’s commitment to that classic sound.
